Masterchef – Saturday 29th October
Hey all,
We’re meeting at the den at 11am this Saturday. We’re going to be cooking our feasts on fires. We should be finished by around 2 o’clock.

Thursday 27th – Halloween Night
A reminder to all that we’re having a Halloween night on Thursday. You can either wear full uniform or dress up. Looking forward to seeing all your scary costumes – it’ll be an improvement for some of you! Oh, zing – want some ice for that burn?
Bear Grylls weekend booked

We have booked into Knockree for the Bear Grylls weekend. The cost has been set at €25. So, you have plenty of time to watch his TV shows and “Be like Bear”!!!!

We need to confirm our numbers for the hostel by the end of the week. It’s one of the most popular hostels in the country so we need to reserve our spots early. Can you please find out and let us know for definite at this weeks meeting?

Who – Everyone!
The annual Bear Grylls weekend is planned for the 2nd weekend of December. We are hoping as many scouts as possible can make this weekend. It is always an excellent weekend which everyone really enjoys. There will be a number of activities held over the weekend and we will be staying in a 5 star hostel in Knockree. We will arrive in the hostel on Friday evening. Once we settle in we will head down the valley to play wide games. Over the weekend we will be working on our adventure skills badges. Everyone who attends will complete a number of stages in their badgework.
Hillwalking :
We will climb Djouce mountain
Backwoods :
We will cook food on fires in Glencree valley
County Raft Competition
A big thank you to the scouts who represented us on Saturday in Rush. You all did a great job and did the Ravens proud…….and you all got prizes to take home!! Fair play to yas.
