Hi all,
We will be finishing our meeting today at 8pm
We will just have to pack all the awesomeness into 1 hour instead of 2 hours this week.
Also, we will have no meeting next week as it is midterm. We will be back to normal the following Thursday (6th of November)
See you all later at 7pm!

Hi all,
We can’t wait for the upcoming weekend in Glendalough. The cost of the weekend is €15. We will be leaving on Friday evening and returning on Sunday afternoon.
As the Scouting Motto goes – Bí Ullamh (Be prepared), so in preparation we talked about what gear we need for the weekend at last week’s meeting. Below is a reminder of the gear needed.
Here is the gear list for the weekend:

If you have it:

We had a fantastic turnout at last week’s Campcraft meeting and we hope this will continue over the weeks. We will be meeting tomorrow (Saturday 11th October) at the Den at 12 noon and practising our skills until 2pm. Hope to see you all tomorrow. (Uniform is not needed, just neckerchief)
We will be heading off next Friday evening (17th October) and spending 2 nights in Glendalough. As discussed at last night’s meeting, the cost will be €15 and we hope all Scouts will make the weekend. We will be staying in a house and will have the whole place to ourselves. We will have great craic and hike in one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland. It will be awesome! We will post the gear list shortly……….

It was great to see all our Scouts tonight, with a very special welcome to our new Ravens – Aoife, Chloe, David, Harry, Heather, Jamie, Nicole and Séan!!
We are meeting at the Den on Saturday to practice our Campcraft Skills – putting up tents, lighting fires and cooking. It’d be great if all Scouts could make it. It will be from 12 – 2pm and we will have lunch at the Den (which will be cooked by some Scouts)! Hope to see you all then.
Meeting Place: The Den
Meeting Time: 12pm – 2pm
We will be heading away to Glendalough for a weekend soon…… We will be heading off on Friday 17th and coming back on Sunday 19th October. We will be staying in 2 houses and there will be lots of activities, a hike and plenty of craic so put it in your diaries now! We will have full details of price etc at next weeks meeting.

This was not announced at this evening’s meeting….. because it’s a secret challenge….. The challenge is….. The first Scout to go up to Chuckie at the Campcraft training on Saturday and say the phrase “Ravens fly high” will be rewarded with a prize.
