Investiture Ceremony
We held our Investiture Ceremony a few weeks ago and officially welcomed 8 new Scouts into the Raven Troop. All Scouts did really well and looked very smart in their new uniforms and neckerchiefs!!
Emergencies Adventure Skill
Scouts have been working hard at their Emergencies Adventure Skill badge over the past couple of months. They have been practicing the DR ABCDE method, along with bandages, safe airway position and scenarios covering an array of ailments, accidents and emergencies!
Investitures
A lot of excitement on Thursday as we invested a whopping 17 new Scouts and 3 leaders into the Raven Troop. Each and every Scout did really well and has already made a very positive impact on our Troop in the few months since they have joined…..as have our newer leaders!!! (all past members of the Raven Troop). 4 of our Scouts also received their Cub Chief Scout Award and 2 Scouts received their Special Interest Awards. Well done all! The future is looking bright!!!
Bruschetta – Relay Challenge
Bruschetta was the dish of the day this week. Patrols had to work together to follow an 18 step recipe – 1 Scout at a time, in a relay format. Team work certainly made the dream work with delicious and nutritious results!!
“Flipping” Amazing Pancakes
We had a “flipping” awesome time frying up some tasty pancakes last week….deeeeeelish!

We spent our 8 day, along with 3,500 other Scouts at the amazing campsite in Stradbally, Co.Laois.
It was an unforgettable time where we all learnt new skills, made new friends and had an amazing time!
