Hi all,

Group Camp is nearly here! We will be camping in Larch Hill. Leaving this Friday evening and returning on Sunday afternoon. It is a Group Camp so all members of Brackenstown will be there….. Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Ventures, Rovers and Leaders so we hope that as many of our Scouts can make it. There will be an official Group photo during the weekend so all Scouts must have full uniform with them. (Please write your name on the inside of your uniform)

It will be a fun weekend, packed full of games, campfires, activities, bouncy castle and much, much more!!!!

We will not be having a regular meeting tonight. It will only be the 8 members of the Regional Shield team who will be meeting to help prepare and transport the gear for the weekend.

The weekend will cost €30, if you have not paid already can you please drop down this evening between 7:00pm and 7:30pm with the money?

Thursday 19th March Meeting

Hi all,

It’s looking like this evening will be a beautiful evening so we will be out in the Den garden soaking up the rays (before the sun goes down!) and doing some awesome activities!

Also…. below is the poster for the upcoming Group camp in Larch Hill. It will cost €30 and e hope all of the Ravens can make it. We will discuss it this evening.

See you all this later!

Thursday 12th March – Skit Night

Hi all,

Tomorrow night’s meeting is Skit night…… We’re sure most of you already know what a Skit is, but just in case – it’ll be a short performance by your Patrol, it can involve singing, dancing, jokes and other forms of entertainment……

The theme of the Skits tomorrow is “Light” so feel free to bring props (e.g. torches, lights) and get thinking about what you might want to do!

See you all tomorrow!

Thursday 5th – Meeting – Deliveries

Hi all,

There are a couple of smaller areas of Swords which haven’t had directory deliveries done yet. We will do our last set of deliveries tomorrow. It is important that all of the areas of Swords receive their directories, as it is our main fundraiser and allows us to have so many awesome activities!

Thanks – We really appreciate all of your help so far!

Uniform is not needed…… Can you please wear your neckerchief, comfortable walking shoes and rain gear.

Also, if you could bring a bag to carry directories, it would be very useful

See you all tomorrow!
