German Scouts, Home hospitality

Hi All,

hope you are all enjoying the fine weather. As you know our visitors from Germany are arriving next Monday 22nd July, they will be staying in the hall for Monday and Tuesday nights, then on Wednesday and Thursday the plan is that they will stay with Families, on Friday they will return to the hall and we plan to have a BBQ for all Scouts and their families on Friday night before we head off on annual Camp.

If your family is interested in hosting our guests, please either leave a message or contact one of the Leaders. the Scouts will stay in pairs of same age, boys with boys, girls with girls.

There are activities arranged for almost every day during the week, we will be bringing them to the beach, the Zoo and Glendalough so we can show them some of our fantastic scenery so they will be out for most of the day.

You do not have to be going on annual camp to host the scouts. it would be a great opportunity to make friends from a new Country and maybe brush up on your German if you are studying it.

look forward to hearing from you all.
