Hi all,
We will be heading on a hike this Saturday. The plan is to head down to the Lough Dan area and climb Scarr (641 metres) and Kanturk (523 metres).
We will be meeting at the Den at 10am. It will cost €2 per scout to cover transportation.
As usual, we will Be Prepared and have all our essential gear to ensure a safe and enjoyable day:
- Neckerchief
- Packed Lunch
- Hat
- Gloves
- Thick jumper
- Day bag (backpack)
- Hiking boots
- Thick socks
- Rain gear – Rain Jacket and Rain Trousers
- Torch
- Emergency rations (sweets)
- Survival bag (bivi bag)
- Whistle
- Platypus/Water Bottle
