Hi all,

We have to postpone our camping weekend to Lough Dan due to a lot Scouts being unavailable – something about a group called One Direction being in town.

Instead we are going to have a day trip on Saturday. Hopefully more Scouts will be able to make the trip (and got to the concert).

We will be meeting at the Den at 10am and heading out to Howth. If the boats are running we will sail out to a nearby island – Ireland’s Eye.

We will discuss full details at tomorrow’s meeting. See you all then.

PL Council Meeting – 6pm

We will have a PL Council meeting with the PLs and APLs 1 hour before our meeting on Thursday at 6pm.

We will be meeting at the Den at 8pm and are looking for Scouts to help.

The Mass starts at 9:30pm. Full uniform must be worn as well.

It is unbelievably close in our Interpatrol competition! Merlins  are leading the way with Kestrels just 1.6 points behind! The Falcons are breathing down their necks only 6 points behind. This is quite impressive considering the score they got in Week1 – really upping their game! The standard of uniforms has really improved with one or two Scouts earning a perfect 50 points for their Patrol…… the marking has been quite tough and some Scouts just need minor improvements to get a perfect score.

This was Week 3 of the competition and Sarah G and Patrick notched up points during the Drill competition. Sarah has won Drill 2 weeks out of 3, can anyone beat her?!?

The Eagle Patrol had just 2 members this week but Sam and Josh had perfect uniform and performed excellently in the Skit to earn 50 points

Well done to all of our Patrols, you all really have gotten stuck in and have shown great enthusiasm over the past 3 weeks! Keep it up!

Hi all,

We’ve attached an image of where your new Patrol Badges need to be sewn onto your shirt. They go on top of your right sleeve, above your Special Interest Badge and below your PL/APL badge (If you have one).

These badges are part of your uniform and need to be sewn on.

This will be factored into uniform inspections and be part of the Inter Patrol competition!!

Hi all, hope you are enjoying your mid-term break. There is no Troop Meeting this Thursday 20th February. We are looking for help this Saturday to finish off the delivery of the directories. We will meet at the Den at 11.00 am, it will take a couple of hours. Wear warm clothes, rain gear and if you have a day haversack, bring it along it helps. Hope we get a good turn out from you guys.

if you have not brought back your activities consent form, please bring it along this Saturday, also your Annual Camp form is required as soon as possible.
