Bag pack

A big thank you to all the Scouts that turned up for the bag packing in Dunnes. A big sorry to all our new Scouts who turned up but could not take part, really sorry about it, the rules changed this year and we did not know beforehand.

Thursday 16th December

Hi all, sorry there’s a change to our plans for this Thursday. We are doing the bag packing in Dunnes Stores this weekend, we have two sessions to cover. We are meeting on Thursday at 5.45 pm at the entrance to Dunnes in the Pavillions. We will finish at 09.30pm. Our next session is on Saturday Afternoon, we will meet at 1.45pm and finish at 6.00pm. As this is a very important fund raiser for us, all Scouts are expected to attend. You must wear full and perfect uniform. Our new Scouts should wear their Scout  uniform including neckerchief, or your full Cub uniform.

Meeting Cancelled 02/12/2010

Even this polar legend and his bucket of puppies wouldn't be able to make it to the den tomorrow. Bonus points for your project if you can tell us who he is.

Scouts is cancelled this week because the heating in the den is stuck on ‘on’ and the place is just too warm.

Only messin – its FREEZIN’.

And the leaders will not be able to make it on time because we’re busy snowboarding down the Jacko.

Thursday 25th November

Hi all, this week is the last week of our Inter-Patrol competition. Our Guest this week will be from the Irish Army, so you really need to make sure your Uniform is in top condition. PL’s / APL’s dont forget about your Patrol Activity and your project on Tom Crean which is due next week.

Well done to all who came along to the Catapult Challenge last Saturday, it was cold but good craic.

Remaining 12 Day draw tickets must be returned this week.

Bi Ullamh – Be Prepared 18Nov10

Hello all, Inter Patrol competition continues, this weeks guest will be Garda Rebecca from Swords Garda Station.

Remember full and perfect uniform required to gain full marks for your patrol. As usual after inspection you will have an opportunity to ask our guest questions about thier particular job.   

The Patrol standings after two weeks are :

FALCON Patrol – P/L Eimear           576 points

EAGLE Patrol – P/L Matthew          571 points

HAWK Patrol – P/L Samantha         553 points

SEAGULL Patrol – P/L Claire            489 points

Remember there are 50 points available each week to each Scout for their Uniform, so plenty of time for the lead to change.

PL’s and APL’s, dont forget  your project on Tom Crean and your Patrol activity.

All Scouts must return their 12 days of Christmas tickets ( sold or unsold) this week.

Dont forget if you are involved in the Catapult challenge, it is taking place this Saturday
