Catapult a flying success !!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to all those who turned up today.

The catapult worked really well. Hopefully we will be test firing next week.

Looks like we will be putting two teams into the John Galvin on Saturday November 20th so keep it free.

As part of the competition you will also get marks for medieval costumes so get thinking of what you are going to wear.

Mel Gibson thinks he looks cool in his medieval gear but can he build a catapult?

Inter Patrol Competition

Hi all, dont  forget that the Inter Patrol competition starts this Thursday 4th November. Each week we will have a Guest at the Troop meeting, who will carry out the Uniform inspection. After inspection we will have a short talk by each Guest, it will be a chance for you to ask questions of them in realtion to their jobs.

This week 4th November, we will be visited by Captain Paul Spencer from Aer Lingus. Paul is a Senior Captain on the Transatlantic routes for Aer Lingus, so make sure you have plenty of things to ask him about flying Airbus A330 Aircraft to America.

Over the next couple of weeks we hope to have Guests  from the Gardai, the Irish Naval Service and the Defence Forces.

There will be a big focus on Uniforms so make sure you are doing your best not to let your Patrol down.

JEDWARD, last few remaining places, you need to pay 10 euro deposit this week, total cost is 28 euro per ticket and the date we are going is 05 January 2011.
