Sleepover – Friday 1st June

After a lot of pestering and asking for a sleepover your super cool leaders have finally given in and allowed a sleepover to go ahead in the Den.

We will kick off at around 9pm, watch a movie, stuff our faces, play games and have a bit of craic!

After having a great night’s sleep we will leave early on the Saturday morning so you can head home and have brekkie!

We’re all going to the Zoo tomorrow

We’re all going to the zoo tomorrow! It’ll be great craic hanging out with all the weird and wonderful creatures (just like a regular Thursday meeting, then? ZING!)

We will be departing from the Den at 10am sharp and will be returning in the evening at approx. 4pm.

The cost of entry is €8.

Each scout must bring the following items : –
– Neckerchief
– Packed lunch or money for lunch
– Raingear

Larch Hill – Fri 27th-Sun 29th April

Yo dudes,
We are all systems go for Larch Hill next weekend (Fri 27th – Sun 29th).
We will be leaving on Friday evening and coming back on Sunday afternoon. We will see you all at the meeting next Thursday and talk about the specific times. We hope you all can make it!!

The price for the weekend is €20.

Below is the usual gear list for camp :
1. Ground mat
2. Sleeping bag
3. Full change of clothes
4. Wash gear
5. Towel
6. Eating utensils – plate, cup, knife, fork and spoon
7. Tea towel
8. Hat and gloves
9. Spare warm jumper/fleece
10. Full rain gear
11. Torch
12. A few black bags. To be used to keep things dry.
13. Toilet roll
14. Necker

All inside a rucksack you can carry on your back.

If you have them bring them.
1. Small first aid kit
2. Pen knife – if you are allowed.

Regional Competition – 2012

A massive well done to all our scouts who represented the Raven Troop at the Regional Competition this weekend!! You did the troop proud so fair play to you all. Congratulations to the team for bringing home the Willie Mordaunt Trophy, all the hard work paid off and it was well deserved. Keep up the great work!!!

No meeting this week

Dear all,
Hope you are having a great Easter. We will not be having a scout meeting this week because of the Easter break.
Don’t fill up too much on chocolate and we will see you on Thursday the 19th of April as usual.
Oh and please let everyone you see that the meeting is off.

Larch Hill – Fri 27th-Sun 29th April

Caw Caw Caw Ravens!

We are planning a weekend away at the end of April (Fri 27th – Sun 29th). We will be camping in Larch Hill and it will be an action packed weekend with all the usual awesome activities!!
The price for the weekend is €20.
