News 06 November 09

Well done to all Patrols for your efforts during the Inter Patrol Cooking challenge last night.  Speaking to the Judges afterwards they were very impressed with the food that was servde up to them. It was a particular challenge to all when you take into account that we had a power cut for the last 45 minutes of the meeting. A special word of thanks to Garreth for the super job he did in cleaning the Kitchen after you guys had all gone home, a big thanks to Conor who also put in a special effort to clean up. Thankfully Ciaran found his steak Knife,  it was looking bad for him for a while ( private joke )

The results will be announced tomorrow on the hike, and speaking of the hike below are the details

Inter Patrol Competition starts 15Oct09

Hi all, now that our new patrols have been set up it is time for the competition to begin. There will be various tasks and challenges where each Patrol acting as a Patrol will be able to earn points but the one area that each individual Scout can help their Patrol, is their uniform. You must be wearing all parts of your uniform (that includes proper footwear) in order to score full marks. You must also be in the hall for the meeting start at exactly 7PM each Thursday or else you will be late and will not be included in inspection. We will put more information up over the next couple of days so keep a watch.

See you all Thursday

Hi everyone, now that we are all home safe and well, i just want to say thanks to all of you for making Annual Camp a great success. I think all of us will have great memories for a long time to come. A special word of thanks to Lisa, Jannette, Sarah, Ian and John without their help Annual Camp just would not happen. As usual there are a number of items that were left behind on the buses, water bottles that were prizes and one white runner/sneeker ( what ever you guys call them ) so if you have a single white runner let me know and we can get it back to you.

if you have any photos you want us to put up on the site let us know

Once again thanks to all of you and see you in a few weeks
